A knock at the door

just before I thought of

slipping out for air.

Someone seeks me, yet I seek

no one.

Perhaps not even air.

Silence now.

White walls hold me, and

suddenly,

everything brims with

trembling detail.

Shapes and shades clash like

dream-code

I glitch,

stretching thin,

threading through the sealed

seams of things.

I sense I won’t be leaving

for a long while.
