Maddalena, warm unguento, blazing cera, dim veiled flame.
Maddalena, sea foam, deepest boil, fiery magma.
Maddalena, stormy lake, majestic ocean, docile sliding river.

Treacherous cava, marmoreal melting madreperla.
Savage amazzone, slashing thick shrubs of tenebrous blurry luce.

Fugitive gazzelle. Of black shifty eyes.

“Anxiety is a modern cliché” is Maddalena’s first single coming out on the 5th of February.

You confess, in your first single’s lyrics, that you have never learnt to breath in our reality, by your hands
painted as theatrical. The idea to step on an infinite stage overflowing with multiple sounds and plural
personalities. Which extra-ordinary defines the presumed ordinariness of this existence?

If I had the answer, the game would be so easy to play. My one and only purpose, and I mean it, is to
capture the essence as much as possible in this short and insignificant life time.
What I certainly know is just that yes, surely this is fiction. I have known it from the beginning but
sometimes I tend to forget it. I believe that this tendency is due to the fact that I love this unreasonable
film that I’m not ready to leave.

Grasping its essence, grabbing and guarding it, would make this game’s effort worth the fiction? And, at
what point of the match would it be spiritually fair to leave it?

After all I am an irremediable optimistic. Therefore, yes, of course it is so worth it. This is the coolest game
a child might receive for Christmas. The game of giving shapes. Are you kidding… so thrilling!
The end is just meant to be. I don’t have an answer to this one as well, because my match has still much
time to go. I believe that at one point you understand the inner mechanism of it and it will be just not
worth playing anymore.

Why the necessity to be tight to yourself, as you sing in your song? Aren’t we, perhaps, the first
murderers of ourselves? Yours, is a way to evacuate yourself to get back in yourself?

Individuality to reach Universality.
Universality in order to go back to the unit. This is how I see it.
I have always given importance to the single as the first measurement. I have to start with myself in order
to overcome myself-the body. Then be plural as a middle state. Finally be one again. Me-unbodied.
